3. Eligibility Criteria – What You Need

Academic Requirements

  • You must have cleared Class 12 (or equivalent) with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
  • Minimum aggregate percentage:
    • General: ≥ 45%
    • OBC/BC/MBC‑DNC/SC/SCA/ST: ≥ 40%
  • No backlogs in PCM subjects

Domicile & Nativity

  • Must be a Tamil Nadu native or have completed schooling (Class VIII to XII) in TN.

Age Limit

  • No age restriction applies, except for certain courses like marine engineering.

  • Reserved seats available for categories like sports, NCC, ex-servicemen, differently-abled, and government school quota (7.5%)
